I couldn’t get the image of Ishika’s lifeless form out of my head. The way she had looked when she was lying there, pale and motionless—it haunted me every time I closed my eyes. My little sister. My anchor. I felt powerless. Helpless. As if the weight of the world had suddenly fallen on me and I was struggling to keep my head above water.
